Georgetown Fastest Growing City

Local KVUE reported that new census data released Thursday shows Georgetown is the fastest growing city in the nation for cities of more than 50,000. The population grew by almost 8 percent between July 2014 and July 2015. New Braunfels was number two on the list and Pflugerville came in at number 11. Lon Russell, director of sales at the Stacy Group, has been selling real estate in the Sun City neighborhood of Georgetown for years. He said they’re open 7 days a week because of the high volume of people looking for their new home. Georgetown has approximately 14 people moving into the city everyday.
